Checkobot

Refund policy

Checkobot is provided by SpoofSense. Paid plans are sold through Paddle, which handles payments and refunds for us.

Paddle is the merchant of record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the merchant of record for all Checkobot orders: it takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, issues the invoice and handles refunds and billing questions. Charges appear on your statement under Paddle's name.

14-day refund on your first payment

If a new subscription isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of its first payment and we'll refund that payment in full. This applies to the first payment of a subscription, for Pro and for API plans.

Renewal payments aren't refunded, but you can cancel at any time to stop the next one.

Cancel any time

Cancel from the billing page in your account. Cancelling stops future payments. You keep your plan, and the checks it includes, until the end of the period you've paid for; after that your account moves to the free plan.

API overage

API plans include a monthly allowance of checks. Checks beyond it are billed at the overage rate shown on the pricing page, at the end of the month. Overage for checks that have already been made isn't refundable.

How to ask for a refund

  • Reply to your Paddle receipt email, or look up your order at paddle.net.
  • Or email billing@checkobot.ai with the email address you paid with and, if you have it, the order number.
  • Paddle refunds to the original payment method. How long it takes to show up depends on your bank or card issuer.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
